Norwegian offshore vessel operator Solstad Offshore has successfully secured a new contract with Subsea7 for its subsea construction support vessel (CSV), Normand Subsea. The contract, set to commence on January 1, 2026, is firm for a two-year period, with three additional yearly options. This extension underscores the longstanding partnership between the two companies, with Normand Subsea having been under contract with Subsea7 since 2009 .

Normand Subsea is a 113-meter-long vessel built in 2009, featuring the VS 4710 design. This versatile Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair (IMR) vessel has the capacity to accommodate up to 90 people. It is owned by Solstad Maritime Holding, in which Solstad Offshore holds a 27.3% stake .

The renewed contract reflects Subsea7's continued confidence in Solstad Offshore's capabilities and the reliability of the Normand Subsea vessel in supporting subsea operations. This partnership not only strengthens the operational ties between the two companies but also contributes to the ongoing development and maintenance of critical subsea infrastructure in the North Sea region.
